Where do you offer service?

We are currently offering our service in Byron Bay Industrial Estate, Caniaba and Casino in northern NSW. We are rolling out in Ballina and other Northern Rivers areas shortly.

How fast is Rippa’s service?

Very fast! Our plans range from 60Mbps to 800Mbps, and all offer symmetrical speeds.

How can I find out the speed of my current internet?

Here is a website that will tell you exactly what your internet speed is ➞ speedtest.net Just click “Go”.

Do you offer a phone service?

Yes, we can offer a VOIP business or home service if required. Talk to us about that when you’re in touch.

I am a renter. May I get internet service with Rippa?

Yes but you will need to make sure your landlord agrees for Rippa to installation our equipment on your home roof.

How much does Rippa internet cost to install?

Our installation fee is $250 (inclusive of GST).

How large is the equipment, and where is it placed?

Our antenna is small (smaller than a shoe box ). You will also need a mast placed on the roof of your home. Depending on your location, the mast will be between 2 and 4 metres.

How safe is the equipment?

Extremely safe! Rippa's service operates at roof levels and is very low power transmitter levels. It transmits using beamforming technology and cannot transmit through walls or roof tops, unlike signals for mobile phones.

Does Rippa offer unlimited data?

Yes we do, noting our Acceptable Use Policy applies.

Is there a minimum contract period?

No, there is not. If you leave Rippa within 6 months of installation, there is an additional $250 disconnection fee.

What equipment is included with my Rippa plan?

Standard equipment includes one or more network receivers, one or more WiFi router/modem, and may include one backup broadband power system device.
